Leaf spring bushing help???
Real simple are the stock bushing in the front leaf springs a real METAL bushing??? I'd like to put the extra urathane bushings I received in my kit for my 94 and though this would be a GREAT IDEA!!! but I get the bolt out of one spring only to find a metal sleeve that looks like it is direct contact with the spring and. I'd stumped.

Yep. Metal spindle on metal bushing. You load them up with grease using the zerk in the end of the spindle. Unfortunately, the previous owner of my truck neglected to do this and the spindle wore completely through the bushing and into the swing hanger on my rear springs. 
If they are lubricated properly, they work fine.
