installing neons
OK i am new at this and never installed neons before. I have a 99 explorer and want to install two neons; one under your feet in the driver side and one on the passanger side (front). I do not want them off the cigerette lighter who does? i want to wire them to a switch (both to one switch if possible) so i can easily tun them off and on. But i dont know if i need wire or wat wire i might need so if someone could give me detailed steps on how to do this so its neat, looks, and works good, that would be great. thanx.

Well first of all you have the wiring and the switch? You will need to wire the red (+) positive wire to the switched ignition for when you turn on the truck the switch is accessable and the black wire (-) negative goes to ground. As for the neon lights they should have a positive and a negative and your red goes to red and the black to black. Hope this helps........ GOOD LUCK!
