Polyeurothane bushing response?

Hey ya'll. I was wondering if any body with a 67-72 f100 2wd has swapped the rubber bushings for polyeurothane? I have installed body mounts, rear springs bushings, steering parts, front axle pivot bushings, and radius arms. I haven't had it on the road yet but wondering how these perform. The engine is a 429 (heavy) but I have 3/4 ton springs up there too. I had a similar 69 250 2wd. The rear was solid but the front would roll pretty bad. I am also thinking of making a dual shock setup for the front. Let me know if you have any info or thoughts. Thanks.

I rebuilt my f-100 front end recently and now it drives like a new car. It didn't take any mods all I did was replace ALL the bushings associated with the front end (and king pins) and put high quality shocks in and replace the rag joint. I have the 390 so your extra weight might make a difference.

I'm just about ready to rebuild my frontend and was wondering what the rag joint is?

the people at the auto store call it a steering coupling joint and it connects the steering column to the steering gear box.
