My throttle linkage consistantly goes sticky on me. I know it's not the cable, I've replaced that. When it get's sticky, it's obviously very difficult to drive in traffic. I've tried spraying the linkage with WD40, light oil, carb cleaner, all have immediate effect but within days it's going sticky again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Using spray oils work in the beginning, but after a period of time only
tend to gather more debris bringing the problem back again.
Best way is to disassemble the linkage as much as possible and thoroughly
clean it, then use a small touch of spray white lithium grease after it's back
together, and I do mean light!
