Temp Sender
Does anyone know what the tap size is in the intake manifold for the water temp sender in a 1970 302? The old one i took out looks like it may be a 3/8" straight thread. It won't work with my new sender that came with the gauges. I was told it was probably a 3/8" NPT. Tried a 3/8" to 1/8" reducing bushing but did not want to thread in. Should be able to finger tight about 1/3 of the way before it starts to tighten. I could only get maybe 2 to 3 threads so i jut quit before i screwed any thing up.
