94 Intermittent Problems
Good morning, first time writting to this post so please be patient. I have been the owner of my 94 bronco for 7 yrs with no problems until now.
I have recently tuned up my broco plugs, cap, rotor, wirs, pvc valve (less than 2000 miles).
I ran the KOEO and KOER test yesterday with no fault codes.
I pulled my dist cap and noticed what I would consider excessive carbon for low miles on tune up. Could this be due to a bad coil? I am also getting an intermittent ignition ping/surging when I give it a lot of gas especialy when the weather is extremly warm. this does not appear to happen when the weather is cool. I have read some of the postings and it sounds like a multitude of sensors and even a EGR valve could be the problem. So I will probably start cleaning sensors tonight. I would aprreciate an suggestions.
