[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-May-02 AT 11:06 PM (EST)]ok i just replaced my battery with the recommended size but when the headlights are on and the windshied wipers are on, the battery gauge will dim while im at a stop. what would help me out with this. my alternator tested good too. so i dont know if i should go from a 90amp alt to a 130 amp alt or not. what is the biggest size i would be able to it in my 94 explorer? thanks

Your voltage regulator maybe going.
This mounted on the back of your alt.
Who chk your alt. did they load chk it
or just chk to see if its producing vlt.
also besure your ilde rpms are where they need to be
