Part ID ???
Again, 1981 F-100 Ranger! 6 cyl w/1 bbl ...The smog equipment going from the smog pump to the intake just under the carb. What is the part called that fits onto what looks like a pipe fitting with thru hole, screwed into the intake??? It appears to be about 1-1/2" in dia and has a small spring inside with what looks like a small baffle of sorts. I can't figure how it attached to the fitting!!!There is also a larger cannister as it comes out of the smog pump. I'm an old geezer from the past and smog attachments are not my forte at all so any help from out there, sure will be helpful.
