Rebuilt my carb

I rebuilt the carb on my 86 F150 300 I6. It's a remanufactured Holley 1bbl. What would cause it to drip raw gas down the throat after I shut it off?

I rechecked the flaot level again. I set it at 3/8" as per the instructions. The motor runs fine, I haven't taken it out on the road yet though. Help Please

Did the needle/seat get replaced? The float height is not particularly relevant if the needle does not stop the flow of gas. Not necessarily the correct answer, but a thought.
