has anyone come across or have heard anything about euro taillights (altezza, eurotec) for 1996 explorers? all i can find are '98-02. i think someone posted here awhile ago saying that a company was going to come out with some...anything?

The only place that has them right now is clearlights.com. They are taking pre-orders, and I checked, and they are taking pre-orders on the carbon fibers now also. I am waiting on the carbon's...

Got through the altezza lights section and you will see them...
You will see a set of clears on ebay every now and then, but they go for like $150-$200 a pair because they are so rare. I know there is a company here in Atlanta that was selling some about 2 months ago, I'll try to find them again and post later...

thanks cobraxp. i just reserved mine. i saw a pair of clear corners for only $55 at godfathercustoms.com if anyone is interested, corners arent rare, tails are as cobra pointed out. also saw a set of clear tails, but like u said they are rare, plus for me, there's the street legal issue. i can put amber bulbs in the corners and its legal, but u have to have red lenses in the tails to be legal in my area, and i travel alot and i dont wanna get ticketed when i go state to state. i wanna go clear in the front and red/clear in the back, eliminate ugly amber lenses, no one pays attention to turn signals anyway

I just got back Godfather's. They are about 20 minutes from me. I don't want clears, I have been waiting on the carbon fibers. I thought about taking a set of clears and wrapping carbon fiber in them, but the plastic still has the waves/slotted look, so it wouldn't look right. I run the clear fronts with amber bulbs.
But I keep waiting on the rears - and waiting - and waiting....
