Careful with that Ol Fart stuff! Anyway, live near Albion, out here in the far end of "West County",have seen a couple of runners, dunno who they belong to.Would like to find one like your '48,just to look at linkage for throttle and air cleaner setup and so on.Think this one has correct distributor, have to take it apart and have a look. This tractor is supposed to have the P/U truck clutch assembly in it,but haven't taken it apart to look. All else indicates it is a 48-52 motor. How it got into a 42-48 tractor,I have no idea.May have been replacement for one that died.Have tried tracking down previous owners with no luck.Trail ends when owner passed. He was from Greenville, curious how a midwestern type tractor found its way to NW Pa.
FYI,this saturday,Old Fashioned Days at Albion Boro Park, including car show. Will be rods,customs,p/u's,antiques,tractors,all welcome.Come on out!
That yer '50sumthin F-1 ? at the Lowville strip? Used to crew/build for "Cowboy",'32 roadster,'39 Fiat coupe. His drag bike was my old street sweeper!
I live just up the road from the yet to be Erie County Motorplex, hope to see it someday

Northwest cornor of Pa, actually it's the Albion Fairground. I was just raggin' on Shortleged, He being from the Country, and I being Cityfied an all.
(in reality, the small Borough of Albion puts on some of the best gatherings in the area every year.)
