94 Explorer code 214 Cylinder Identification circuit failure
Hi
Just checking if anyone knows about continuous memory code 214 . My check engine light comes on and this is the code I get.
I checked the book and it's a Cylinder Identification circuit failure.
My Explorer runs great but looks like a bad sensor.
Has anyone had this problem.

94 Explorer code 214 Cylinder Identification circuit failure
I have the same problem on my 94. It is a camshaft position sensor and it is $450 from Ford just for the sensor. I think I am going to wait until mine dies before I fix that sensor. It is on the back of the engine and the book says it is best to remove the mainfold to access the sensor.
