Rocker Switch!

i have a rocker switch that i want to install in my car to control something on and off, i have a 1995 explorer, i just want to know what 12v. hot wire i could use to power the rocker switch, and where it is and what color, PLEASE HELP!

how about coming off the cigarette lighter feed

and then trace it back to where you need to
A more scientific approach would examine which circuit/fuse you want to be off, if the item you have draws a lot of juice.

Ok, Thanks I was thinking about doing that, I'll try it and let you know. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?

I think Autozone will have a little gadget that plugs into any fuse receptacle & has a wire connector that extends out from it.
