I think my '67 could survive the high intensity radio beam, might mess up the AM radio a little though.

The second part reminds me of something I read about some of the Russian fighter jets from the 70s and 80s. When they turned their radar on while sitting on the ground it would literally microwave rabbits and other small widlife that happened to be in its path.

 

Looks like us speeders may be needing EMP shielding on our vehicle computers, instead of radar detectors...
