how much hp?
is it possible to get 220 hp out of my 4 banger without spending more than $1500? besides nitrous.

Is it a lima engine?Is it running now how many miles? Cause you prolly could given the right engine to start with.

im not sure it is a 94, its got 80,000 mi.

Well 200 HP is not out of the ballpark.I would say 200 is a can do.I would first start looking for a 83-88 turbo coupe thunderbird.You would need to turbocharge and run a good aftercooler.I plan on running a modest 10 psi boost pressure and expect 150 HP.To this point i have about $400-500 bucks into it,but i ran with a carb instead.

about how much horsepower would i gain if i put a new head on that has been ported and polished and a high perf. cam?

I would guess a good P&P with a nice cam could get ya 15-20 HP
