This may be a dumb question...I have a 94 bronco (1/2 ton full size) and the book says to order the conversion kit. My hubs are the ones with 5 screws and not 3. Do I need the conversion kit??? I will be going with the superwinch manuals. any and all help is much appreciated.
disregard...after searching for a while I found the answer. These young guns at auto parts store don't know a lick about anything...I ask them for an egr valve and the kid says something about a washer...these places need to teach them or hire good knowledgable help.

knowledgeable help comes from expierience you cant really teach these guys. anyone that knows his parts are a valuable asset to the parts store and they dont need to be hired because they are already working. i guess the educating these new guys will have to be up to us.
oh yeah you do NOT need the conversion kit. hey at least the kid read far enough to know there is a conversion kit available. when you pick up your hubs teach the kid that you only need the kit if you have three screw hubs and he will be one step closer to being a good parts guy.
Thanks...Yeah I hear ya. The kid was not wanting to help so the store manager who was a tech did. It was on the kids computer screen the whole time I was standing there. He just wanted to talk to his fellow coworkers more than help a paying customer. I teach these kids some things but most of these kids these days just do not want to work...what ever happened to the good ole days...LOL!!!
Hey, I'm a kid (well 18) and the stores don't want people that know what they're talking about! I've tried 6 times to get a job at some local auto parts places and they'd rather hire people who will "diversify the workplace". It's crap!
