Shelby Expedition

I read that there may be a Shelby Expedition at the 2004 SEMA Show in Vegas. Anyone know any details.

Could be just like the supposed Rousch Expy.

Yeah I read the press release from Ford too but they had no pics.

Can't wait to see what they come up with and how much?

I sure hope its not just looks and no performance. I cant imagine the Shelby name on anything that doesnt have power!

It might be a nice place to show off the new 6.2L Hurricane.

i was watching the tv show called "RIDES" the other day and cris titus put a blower/supper cgarger on a 2003 expy. that thing sounded awsome. they did a dino on it befor the work and it had 180 someodd hp at the rear wheels but they didn't list how much hp it gained with the upgrades. maybe i missed that part of the show. did anyone else see it????

Shelby SUV will provide a number of performance, handling and styling upgrades over the standard Ford Expedition model.

The Shelby Ford Expedition model will offer dynamically designed exterior body accents, graphics and ground-effects, enhanced interior styling and electronics package, high-performance tires mounted to the latest state of the art custom wheels, suspension and handling upgrades, and all driven by a Shelby tuned high performance engine package.

On Rides I believe they said the blown motor produces 440-460hp before tuning. The system they used was a Whipple, if you go to their website look in new stuff. You will find 5.4l 2v listed with a on sale date of early 04. I e-mailed the several months ago about the system and was told it would be priced around $5500. That is a lot of money but Whipple is the Caddilac of blowers.
