I saw a TSB on that. Can't remember exactly where I saw it, but the gist of it was: sand it then paint it with high-heat, rust inhibiting paint. Ford made a specific recommendation as to the brand of paint, but I don't recall which one.
Take care of it ASAP. I didn't notice mine until it rusted through and started leaking oil. I'm not pulling this engine just to put in an oil pan!!!!!
What I did to fix it was to drain the oil completly so no more would come out through the hole and then dry it off with brake cleaner spray. Then I applied one of those gas tank repair patches to the bottom of the oil pan. It stopped the leak for good.

I remember a TSB on that too, and looked through a couple sites that list them, but didn't see it. All it said was to sand the oil pan down, clean it and apply a coat of paint. I seem to remember it listing a Ford PN, but any good quality paint, applied tight, should do the trick. Good luck to you!
