Front end lift

I heard from a friend that he tightened his torsion bars on his F-150 and it raised his front end about 2 inches. Has anyone heard of doing this to a Ranger? If anyone has tried it and had no problems with their brake lines or shocks being long enough I would like to know if it will work.

It will work if you do it correctly. I've heard of 2-3" of lift being found in some cases, though I wouldn't do mine that much personally.

I'd go for about 1.5" if it were me. I will lift mine once I get AAL's in the rear and money for another alignment

Thanks, I think I will go for about 2 inches, just to level things out. My front tires rub right now and they are only 31's.

Make sure you get it aligned after you do it.
