I'm Amazed

Due to recent discussions (on various threads) heated debates, and the avalanche of defensive postures; there seems to be a cascade effect of gloom & doomers popping up out of nowhere.

I have said it before and I will say it again. I understand that they are very upset and I wish them the best of luck in their dealings with Ford. From the tech's to Bill Ford himself. But get of my back.

There are members of this site that go out of their way to help and advise those that have very real problems. Most folks are grateful. A handful of others just want to bash 6.0's and their owners for their very existence. We all need to vent (as I am doing now) but some seem to make Ford bashing their career or their life's mission.

If this is your intent please go way with your new chevy/dodge/yugo/schwin or whatever. A life changing event such as that will surley do you good.

Anyway...on topic...I am amazed everytime I drive my truck. I only drive ten minutes to work each day and I am sometimes disappointed that it is not further. I don't really need to but, going to see a customer this afternoon. One hour each way...just for the drive.

Thankful for having one of the "perfect trucks". Hoping that it stays that way. Would rather help when I can than need the help.

All of this long post of course is IMO.

Well said KW....
I too have been less than happy with the tenor of some posters....
and wonder WHY in the world they spend their valuable time doing it over and over and over...

My time is precious and I only spend it on things I enjoy....
if it's not enjoyable - I move on...

Who wants to continually complain... who wants to continually HEAR that ?!?

It's like the two way speaker phones in a restaurant ----
I don't want to hear ONE side of the conversation, much less two !!!
And have suggested that to many people !

I enjoy my truck and I am on this forum because I am an "enthusiast". I wish the negativity would go over to the other forums where they are in like company and let the enthusiasts alone. I enjoy the sharing of information and good natured banter.

I tend to agree with you guys. After all, these trucks are still just machines. I had three new trucks of another brand and one was flawless.. the others had their little quirks. I was thinking last night about the vehicles I had to drive back in ..well a long time ago, to get the job done my psd does now. With all the popping and noise you could hardly carry on a conversation in the cab. These are still heavy duty trucks and do the job very well with great comfort. Who needs the old days......
