well I got my motor out of my explorer , took it apart and I see a bent rod, crank is straight.
I thought cool a rod, set of rings and gaskets and I'll be back on the road again.
I did some pricing and was shocked to find out gaskets will cost about 500 dollars, rod 100 apeice.
I think someone at ford or parts jobber came up with the million dollar anser.
this sucks
