12v ignition switch questions

Ok, this is for my new 47 coupe, but I don't know any good car sites for it, and this site rocks, so you guys can probably help. The guy I got it from put a seperate regular style ignition switch under the dash when he changed it to 12v, but I want to get the original with the column lock and push button working again. I think I need another push button with two prongs, rather than the self grounding one wire 6v piece. Now, I see on the switch I have to hook up the battery to one, the solenoid (newer ford style) to the same one?(run to new button, then to solenoid, I assume), the wire to the voltage reg (GM style, I think) to the same terminal too? The coil by itself, and what's this last stud for? That's all that's hooked up to the switch in there now, and the last blank one says "guage" on it. What goes there?

Am I on the right track here?

battery to one pole.
starter relay to another pole.
the coil by to another pole.
and the alternator/ voltage regulator and any accessories you have to the one marked guage.

that should get you working.

Ok, now can I use a one wire (oem) starter button, or do I need a two wire one? I can get either. I think I need the two prong in line to the solenoid. Could I use the one wire somehow? Thanks!
