Got my Predator Today
I finally did it. Couldn't wait the supposedly required 1000 miles. I called Motorhaven and they hooked me up with a Diablosport Predator for a great price, plus free overnight shipping. When I got home today, the boy and I went out and put in the 100HP tune (why mess around with half-measures, I always say). Then we went for a little spin. Holy Cow! would be an understatement. It's incredible. Instead of accellerating like a hog until 2K, when the turbo spools up, she launches right off the line like a scalded cat. Transmission had two hard shifts, and then behaved like a perfectly civilized vehicle.
When we pulled in the driveway, both my son and I were grinning from ear to ear. My wife aked what the big deal was. I just tossed her the keys and told her to take it out for a drive. She came back about fifteen minutes later, with the same grin. Seems she beat a Mustang or something. Her only words were "now THAT is amazing."
Thanks to FTE and Motorhaven for waking up the beast!

More like $$ not $$$ - it's a SMALL price to pay IF it will work on your 550 !!!
COMPLETELY changes the character of the truck !!!
With it you don't HAVE to intimidate them with the 550's size - you can just blos by them !
It is THE BEST bang for the buck of all my years of modding everything from go carts to motorcycles to cars and now trucks !

right foot brings the rpms up to about 2000 and
hold on....
get ready for the burnout of your life... WITHOUT letting off the brakes !!!
have some room around you because mine will go sideways !
and if you have 4x4 - this technique will set you in the back seat for about a 2 second 60 foot time !
More like $$ not $$$ - it's a SMALL price to pay IF it will work on your 550 !!!

Got more hangy down things than I do.
I haven't even done 105 H.P. setting because I don't want to get into gauges, exhaust, pop turbo hoses etc.

she doesnt like ridin w/ me as it is.... and she REFUSESto step in the bronco after the 20ft jump a few weeks ago...heheand ill be gettin one soon, my $$$ situation is tight cuz i just started this here transport company

Check your predator version number vs his and I think the latest is r34e ?
and what year truck is it vs yours - there are probably different flashes and computers on the trucks...

That doesn't sound right. It takes about ten minutes. I recommend hooking up a battery charger to the primary battery when uploading or restoring.
There is a difference in FICM's on 03's and 04's so the flashes are different. When you load a custom program, it saves the original and then amends (modifies) the original on the PCM.
