looking for a 400
I need a 400 for my 77 f250 4x4. I was wondering what cars or trucks and years i might be able to find them in. In case i need to check the junk yards or something. any help would be appreciated. thanx

I ran into someone at an autoshow last weekend who wanted to sell me a 400 (+0.040) block and 10/10 crank and rods for $150.00. I would have laid that right on him, but I have no use for it right now and no room to store it. I don't know the pedigree of the block (Cleveland, Detroit, or Michigan). If you are near to Delaware, it might be worthwhile looking into it.
I don't know the fellow's name, but I sold him a 351C-4V Performer Intake a few months ago. He is involved with a local Mustang Club and comes to many events.
I should have gotten contact info from him last week.
