I thought it was good but not awards good. It was proly up against some stiff competition though. At the right time, with the right competition it might have won something ... like an MTV award
Got it on DVD Sat to watch...
but my daughter was over and one of the first scenes scared the bejeebers out of her and asked if we didn't watch it.... she wouldn't sleep that night !
(she's studying for her master's degreee, so don't think I'm showing horror rated flims to my little girl!)
Have a fair surround sound system and it made me jump too
So we went into our bedroom to watch it while she studied, but I decided to wait on it... will rent it again another day....
The clerk at the rental said it was good though...
ok- just got done watching it- AWESOME movie- makes me mad now that i didnt see it in the theater cause it got bad reviews from the critics. Ashton Kutcher does and awesome job, and it really twists your mind quite a bit. there are some scenes i didnt care too much for like the dog scene and the kids' father with the video camera but its all just part of the plot.
I just watched it 2 nights ago and loved it. Apparently I watched the directors cut where he completely offed himself in the end. Kind of twisted but very good at the same time. I would definitely recommend it.
Yeah what was up with the director's cut and the theatrical version. It took me about 10 minutes to decide which one to watch, but then ended up going throught the other anyways.
I hate double sided DVD's because I never know if you want the labled side that you want to see facing up or down. Everytime I think I've got it figured out it starts playing the wrong side. I wanted to watch the directors cut but wasn't sure which one I was viewing until I watched the other version and a friend told me which was which. I don't know if any of the rest is different . . . I only watched the end of the original version.
