Emissions light on
I have a 87 f150, a few days ago the emissions light came on, and it has stayed on ever since. I have tried reseting the fuses(puting them in and out) and it still stays on. Someone told me the reseting the fuse thing works on Chevys and Dodges, but not fords. Got any suggestions or comments?

Go to autozone and see if they will read the codes on the computer if it has any. Some of these trucks seemed to have an emissions light instead of the normal check engine light. And there is the possibility that it has a seperate light for emissions that is set off by a timer that you need to reset. I am a little foggy on this, but if you get the codes read, at least you will know if that's the problem or not. If everything is ok they should get a code 11.
