Oil pan/pump question

Oil pan/pump question

Ok i have a question for ya'll, i asked in the motor forum with no response, im gonna be doing a new oil pan and pump soon, and i need some input, im gonna do a rubber 1 peice gasket and a new pan, well remaufactured pan? dont know how they pull that off, but whatever, but the question is, should i do high volume oil pump or regular?? oh and whats the diffrence in between the gasket, they said there were 2 one for jan. to june, and one from july on,(Manufacture dates) any ideas???? thanks all

what year, engine in truck?

i have a response about oil pump choice, i will look for it.

Oh yeah sorry, totaly spaced that one, 87 f-150, 4x4 351w, 104,000 miles, if it matters, i was thinkin a high volume, just because wetter is better

i know about 1 piece gasket for 4.9 six, not sure on 351.
