what is my cr?
My 390 has c8ae=h heads and c6ae-c pistons. Std bore and head gasket.

Can you put up a pic of your piston? I don't have those casting numbers memorized.

sorry I haven't entered that part of the digital world yet. This is in a 73 f100 and I'm guessing by what I know of the numbers it isn't original.

heads are 68-71 cc used on 428 and 427 's at least by the cross referance
What engine is it? what year?

could be as good as 10.5:1 need more info need engine ci, block casting.

The pistons are dished. My mistake on the original post, the rod has the c6ae-c number on it. I cant find one on the piston.
