Why is my 1985 F-150, 302 efi, 4-wd, AOD such an orphan? Adds for parts and the like always exclude the 1985 model. 1984 models are included in the 1980-1984, and 1986 models are stand-alone. 1985 models are like they don't exist...what's up?

The only difference between an 84 and an 85 is that the 85 had optional EFI (same as the 86 in terms of parts) and the center stack fascia is built for a DIN-size radio (shared with the 86 - note that the 86's radio wiring *may* be a little different). Everything else interchanges from 80-86.

I have an 86, and I don't see the "orphan" or "standalone" thing; just about every part I go look for, except for the EFI system, is listed as "80-86 F150" by the vendors.
