Has ford forgotten about all us 03 owners ? I have not heard of any plans for a reflash for low fuel economy or low power. What gives, are they just going to set on the clock until everyone is out of waranty ? It seems that ford knows what to do , just look at the mods from 03 to 04 and more to come on the 05s. I think its time for something to be done, if they can upgrade from one year to the next they can upgrade the 03s. Im waiting on the phone to ring FORD !!!!!!!!

my service manager says there is not going to be any fix for the fuel concern it either does good or it doesnt, tough luck if you got a fuel sucker, the ford regional manager told me that there are no posted fuel ratings for f250 or f350 and so I am out of luck.

I think you are wasting your time posting messages to Ford on this site. Send a letter to:

Start with your service manager and go to your general manager. Get them on your side. Call Ford Customer Assistance (for whatever good that will do) to say you did it. Document all activity and conversations. Be clear on what are your complaints and what you want done.
You better have a good trail of documentation if you are going to fight the mileage battle. There are so many factors that will affect mileage. It will change with the weather literally. Plus Ford didn't promise any mileage except to say it would be better than the 7.3 which they have yet to deliver.
I think many have resolved (or at least masked) some of their issues by going with tuners like the Diablo Predator...
It DOES help mileage a bit...
but it makes the truck SO much more of a great drving experience,
you stop worrying about it so much....
Granted there are those that rightfully want to fight the fight...
but I chose not to fight this battle and directed "my troops" to defend the western front and stop concerning myself with the Deaborn skirmish :-)
just my $.0000000002
