Sunglasses compartment broken
The other day I reached up to open the sunglass compartment in the overhead console of my 02 F250 Super Cab and the plastic latch broke off. It wouldn't stay closed so I gently tried to take it off but ended up breaking both of the plastic hinges. So now I just have a big empty space up there. Has this happened to anyone else? It looks like there are two screws that hold the hinges on, but I think the console needs to be removed to get to them. Am I right? I guess I'll have to order another one from Ford.

Just replace the whole plastic shell for the entire console. It will come with both new doors and the outter shell. Price was right aroun $40 when I got mine... I broke both sunglass and garage opener deals. Easy to install, it just snaps off and on.
