Brought my '97 Expy in for service and mechanic showed me that the driver side lower ball joint had a tiny amount of play in it and recommended it to be changed. My question is, do you normally replace one ball joint or should both lowers be changed at the same time? The passenger side was OK.
Thanks.
Dean
Normally it's best to do them at the same time because eventually you're going to be back in there doing the others anyways and it's cheaper to get it all done at one time. Lowers usually do wear first. Let your wallet be your guide .
