Bad Cop Again !

Another coil-on-plug whent on my 02 5.4l F250.I even have the splash guards for the excursion installed above the shocks and to no avail.Logging roads ,wet wheather and cops dont mix.I'll get her back monday,we'll see which cylinder this time.

I've been reading about your coil dilema. You must have quite alot of patience. I think I would have just given Ford back their truck picked something else to drive by now.

I had 1 go out on my V10 and a friend lost 2 on his 5.4, I think there were a lot less problems with the old remote coil system.

well, the odds are against us with getting a bad coil pack here and there when we each have 8 or 10. The improved performance is most likely worth it on a mass basis, just sucks for those of us who get the bad few.
