Interior lights don't work? Jam Switch?

I know my Door Jam switch is bad it blows the fuse and you have to manualy work it to get it to do that so it is bad. My question is how many wires should be connected to the switch. There are three plugs but only two wires and this is in the driver side haven't pulled the pasenger side.
This is on a 77 F100 short bed and regulare cab(don't think that matters but just in case) before I hook up the new ones I'd just like to know how it should look.

Third wire on switch is usually for a key buzzer/chime, so on models without that only two wires are used. Most stores carry only three wire switches because they will work for either system.

Cool so I could wire up a buzer or something better on my old 77. Cool and good to know. Thanks for the info. I'm adding stuff like that to it like on the newer trucks running lights and keyless entry surprises people.
