Problem Solved???
As some of you know, I have ranted and worried about a knocking noise form my engine. I am still not quite sure as to what the noise is exactaly, but I have found another (related 
) problem. The typical Ford manifold, the passenger side is cracked 
. I used Fire Seal 2000 on it and am hopeful that it will fix the crack. My REAL question is, could this knocking be the manifold?? Ive read that it could sound like a knock and when my dad was driving it for a while(Olds wagon tranny died 
) I could realy hear this "knock" when facing the pass side. When the truck is on high idle, I hear a knocking from in the cab, but outside I do not. Even with my head out the window and reving the engine I cannot hear the knocking but the ticking/whistling of the manifold. Could the manifold noise be distorted and made to sound like a knock from inside the cab?? Am I just jumping to conclusions and not being sensible?? I hope that it was the manifold, I wasnt lookin foward to a rebuild
