1998 front wheel bearings

my uncle has a 1998 sport and needs front wheel bearings, as the truck is 3 hours away i don't know if they are the standard inner and outer type or the one piece type they use with cv shafts on the front end....

They are the front wheel drive "hub" type. Something I've noticed is that the local junkyard has about twenty 95 up Explorers. ALL the 4wd drive ones have had the front hubs (or commonly referred to as a "bearing pack") sold off them even if nothing else is missing. Must be a very common problem. Not that I would advocate buying a used bearing of any kind. Obviously somebody is though.

If you know the general configuation of the vehicle, just go to Autozone or somewhere and have them look up the correct part for you. The regular Timkin inner/outer bearing set is like 5 bucks.
