I have a ranger regular cab, which equals little sub space. Behind the seats I suppose is the only place I could squeeze in a subwoofer. I really would prefer not to have to move the seat up that much. I was looking at bazookas, and even those are pretty big. If anyone has a solution to my problem it would be of much help. Any info or knowlege would great. Thanks
free air style subs placed under the seat may be good for your application. there subs that don't need a box. I don't know how hard they hit because I have never used them or heard them. I would check them out though.

Wrong. Free air subs require that the front wave is completely blocked from the back wave, as in rear decks on cars becuase they use the whole trunk as an enclosure. So in a way they do require a box. They will not work in a truck. There is nowhere near enough room for one.
Look for a couple of 8" or even 6" small box subs, that would be your best bet. Bazooka tubes are ok, but there are much better choices out there.
good point kens64 I forgot that free air subs utilize the trunk as a box. I have heard of people using them under the seats though. I don't know how effective they would be if any at all.
rangerstation scratch that idea then! I would look into Q logic or MTX custom molded boxes. I don't know what year your truck is but they do make specific boxes that fit behind the seat that are molded to look like a factory install and saves space. Some I believe come already powered with an amp. You may want to look into this.
Your other option would be buiding a custom sub box.
