They claim "Fuel on" is supposed to help. Never tried it though. I run a tank of high test, put in new plugs, and spray some 2+2 into the intake to clean things out. You are only required to meet the standards of the year of the truck. Good luck.

CRC Makes something called "Guarantee To Pass" worked good for me, you also might want try putting in a new erg valve and if it has one an air pump check valve, these three things made my truck pass with flying colors.
