time for zr'n the frame

I'm ready to zr my frame from the box back and i'm gonna take off my box to do this. How long should i wait to put it back on? i don't want to mark it all up. Can u sand between coats of zr. It doesn't really seem like the kind of stuff would sand but i was wondering.

You could wait 25 years for it to dry and still manage to mark it up. Same thing with any other paint. ZR has a long dry time. I usually give it a couple of good warm days before I treat it roughly.

Sure you can sand between coats (assuming the paint is dry) but why? The only reason would be to sand out a blemish or if you exceeded the maximum topcoat time.
