Running Rich
I have a '84 f150 with a 2bbl 351w. It's been spitting alot of black smoke out lately and I'm wondering what I need to do. I checked the oil level and it's fine. I'm guessing I'm running rich. My gas milage sucks! Any suggestions?

Check your choke. Make sure that it is adjusted correctly. You could crobably use to lean the mixture some. Loosen the 3 screws that hold the coke housing on, and turn it counter clockwise some. NOT A LOT THOUGH. A little makes a big difference. Try that and see if it helps. Most likeley its choke related.
