Class III - 5000 lb trailer weight and 500 lb tongue weight. That's the chrome step bumper that was stock on most trucks those years. It should be stamped on there somewhere as well.

However.... The 1&7/8ths ball isn't rated that high.

Well I'm living in Venezela so those parts are "made in Venezuela"... bumper looks like a very thin steel sheet but where the ball is mounted, there is a good piece of metal, there are no numbers stamped on.

By the way... I was giving a look to my brother' Bronco 1996, it has a different mounting base that looks stronger, any comments??

Javier, It is light weight. If the plate it 3/8" thick where the ball fits, you should be able to pull a single axle boat trailer just fine. Tandem axle or heavier trailers need Class three receiver hitches mounted under the chasis.

You'll be fine. I pull a 14' with my nissan. Your F-150 will be more than enough.
