Im stumped. Truck ran fine yesterday and today nothing, it just turns over. I have a full tank of fuel, the CMP sensor was changed just last month. If anyone has any ideas please help...I dont want to have to get it towed to frod for them to run a dionogstic.
Couple of things come to mind here....
Does the tach move when cranking? If not probably bad cmp, I know you just changed it but......
Also check the fuel heater in the fuel bowl, if it's shorted out it can cause a no start problem, unplug it and check fuse #22 under the hood, heck check 'em all just to be sure.
Yeah dumb me, I saw the other post by diesel_dan about no starting truck and it was his battery, I hooked up some jumper cables and "Wa-La", it started. I couldnt believe it. I mean the gagues all read fine the truck cranked just fine, but it turned out to be no voltage. Thanks for all your help, I almost paid ford to tow my truck and fix it.
