electric brakes

I was just wondering if the pigtail from a 95 f350 would work on my 2001 f250 when installing a tekonsha (sentinel) electric brake system? I hooked it up and they looked the same but the light didnt come on in the 01 like it did in the 95. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong. My kids took the instructions so I was curious.

here we go again... there are 2 fuses and 2 relays that need to be put into the under hood fuse and realy boxes for the controller to work, if you email me i can send you a picture of where they go

i just noticed this is you first post (you will not be able to email me yet).
click here and read through the thread, the info you need is in there

you need to put 30 amp max fuses in location #16 and #28 in the under hood fuse box, and put 2 standard 12 volt relays in the little black relay box that it right next to the underhood fuse box

even if you have the tow package they are not installed, you get a little package when you buy the truck that includes the relays, fuses and instructions on how to put them in.
