I’m hoping someone can give me some good info about adding a little more horse power to my truck (2003 F150 V6-4.2L). I’m looking to do this in a very easy and somewhat cheep way. It has been recommended that I add a K&H aircharger but I’m not sure exactly what that will do and how much it will cost. I would appreciate any advice/direction that anyone could give. Thanks
just curious what your idea of cheap is i know my idea of cheap is usually different from other peoples but as far as the k&n goes they are great you can get the replacement filter itself for about 40 bucks and you can wash it when it gets dirty instead of buying a new one like the paper filters also if your truck has many miles on it give it a good tune up like new plugs wires etc youd be amazed sometimes how old plugs and wires can really suck out the possibility for power
I’m trying to stay under the $300 mark.. I found an K&N aircharger that lists for about $270, not sure if this is the best way to go to increase horse power ... my main reason for trying to increase the horse power is to make it a little easer to pull my boat…. If there is a better way please let me know … thanks
