OD & D

Hey guys can you tell me the difference between the two?

I've always driving with OD.

Which one should I drive with in city/highway and why?

i don't think it matters in the city... unless your tranny hunts up and down between 3rd and 4th in the city. when i'm merging onto the highway, i usually keep it on D and accelerate to highway speed before switching over to OD.

Just leave it in over drive unless you hear it "hunting" between gears. When towing always put it in drive to save your tranny.

I see. Would leaving it in D make it accelerate any faster?

No, it just means it won't shift into overdrive around 72 KM/H (45 MPH). If you are around 45 MPH and you are shifting into overdrive, then you give it a bit of gas to downshift back to third it's fine. But if it does it alot you build up a lot of heat and you can and will wreck your tranny.
