OK. How does this sound. Spavinaw State Park July 31st and Aug 1st. I'll be camping from Fri evening until Sun. evening. People can show up at their own convenience. Lots of shade and great swimming and fishing. We can reserve a few picnic tables as the pavilion is taken for that weekend. If peole want to boat, we can put in on the upper side and drive to the dock, a couple of blocks away. For those that want to 4x4, the dam is only 10-15 minutes away. It is a great spot to camp. I'm not sure of the price as I have not camped yet this year. We can enter everyone's name throughout the weekend and draw for the door prize Sun. evening. Then I'lll ship it to them. Let me know what you think. I'll be the camp with the Ford trucks parked next to it. I'll make Dave hide the Chebby.

Well, that sounds good if everybody else is in agreeance. Unfortionatly, due to my weekend work schedual, I for one will not be able to attend. But if this is what everybody decides to do, I hope everyone can get together and have a good time.

Now, if this is where the meet is to take place, we need to start talking food, and who will bring what. Or should we just collect some money and give it to one person to do some shopping???

P.S. Maybe us Tulsa folks can meet up at a restraunt or the drive in or something?? Obviously, anybody is welcome. I just thought I would throw that at there.

Maybe we could meet at like... TGI Friday's?? Something where we can all be loud and not worry about getting kicked out???

It was just a thought. I'll need some feedback before I make definite plans. I could probably swing going to Tulsa one evening. I'll just be a little late for work. Like they're going to fire the best worker they've got. I don't care what we do, SOMEBODY JUST MAKE SOME PLANS!!!!!!!!! I'll still bring the pop.

Ufortunately, cigarxtc and rogerf100 won't be able to make it to Lake Spavinaw on July 31st. We'll be down at Lake Texoma campin' and fishin' that weekend. Just curious, do we have any members that far south?

My name is Alice. Let's just make it an all day Saturday thing. That way everyone won't have to make several trips. I may have a chance to work on my 78 that Sunday. Bring any kind of food that you want. We'll just have a smorgasboard. Look forward to seeing whoever shows up.

How about directions from up here in Kansas? Or just give me an idea where the park is. Don't know how work will go but would like to try and make it the the GTG.

Jim, Thanks and you have mail. Seems a ways down there but if I don't have to work I should be able to make it. How long will this last? I may not be able to get there till in the afternoon. Sounds like it would be fun and a great chance to meet some members and get our 2 chapters off to a good start. Thanks, for offering to let me join in. No promises but will do my best.
