Question low engine power

We have a 1986 F150, 300 6 cyl, motor is 2 years old. We have put a new exhaust system on it with new cat converter, and rebuilt the carb. The truck starts fine and has a smooth idle but has no drive power. We have checked and double checked everything And can't seem to locate the reason. We would appriciate any input.

In my experience this could be case by a ignition coil giving low voltage, Ignition module or even connectors related to Ignition system...
