i just got back from ontario, spent 3 days fishing in the "bush" 
i love going up there to get away from it all, its always so much more peaceful then here in lil ol indiana

I live in Canmore (which is right next to Banff) and work in Banff 2 days/week. We moved here 3 years ago and couldn't think of anywhere else we'd want to live (except for the outrageous cost of houses). It's a little chilly here this time of year (more than usual) but the weather should be ok for your visit. Make sure you check out Bow Falls near the Banff Springs. Another suggestion would be a half day river raft trip down the famous Bow River. Unbelievable scenery. Enjoy!

Made it there, got back safely. FANTASTIC place!!!!!!!!!!!! Great trip up until we were heading back Tuesday night. Suffice to say I slept last night on the floor of one of DFW's terminals (found one cot but wife got it). Gladly would go back again except I think I'd rather drive.
