I have 92 ford f150 extended long bed straight six that right around shift point quite oftens bucks
ALSO HAS BEEN GETTING HARDER TO START IT (LAST TRIP OUT IT CRANKED FOR EVER BEFORE STARTING THEN COULD HARDLY GET RPM UP BECAUSE OF BREAK UP)
I dont belive its a clucth problem. it has done it since i bought it used. the guy i bought it from (friend told him some fuel injection part).
I thought maybe timing chain but not sure how to check (recently put tune up except for timing) and i went to Autozone to check on parts turns out the pieces are alummuniun gear and fiber gears(almost like brake linings but stonger of course)SO NOT SURE if thats the problem. any ideas or experince would be helpful thanks in advance
