Just recently purchased a Ford 1992 F-150 4.9L Fuel Injected with 97K on it and was wondering about putting on a couple bolt on upgrades.
The first being a K&N (FIPK) and the next being a catback exhaust. Are there any issues with the computer in the vehicles mass airflow sensor or anything that could throw a check engine light on after install??? I just went through and O2 sensor, MAP sensor and EGR Valve to get the check engine light to go away.....
Would you recommend changing the CAT too now that I have been looking for the parts I see the free flow CATS or would that not even be worth it the stock one would be okay??...
