Exhuast and Intake

Hello,

Just recently purchased a Ford 1992 F-150 4.9L Fuel Injected with 97K on it and was wondering about putting on a couple bolt on upgrades.

The first being a K&N (FIPK) and the next being a catback exhaust. Are there any issues with the computer in the vehicles mass airflow sensor or anything that could throw a check engine light on after install??? I just went through and O2 sensor, MAP sensor and EGR Valve to get the check engine light to go away.....

Thanks,
..FalconYT

There's no MAF on 92 so you'll have no problems. As long as you keep the O2 sensor, you'll be fine on the exhaust also.

cats

Do they make headers for the 4.9?????? I see they're split 3 and 3, is their any other setup for this engine...

If it stayed as it is the headers would go into one cat, not two????? (newbie here)

Thanks,
